Can someone please explain to me why so hard for the front end supervisor to do their jobs.

The front end supervisorsupervisors including the assistant customer service manager pretend like their job is so hard. Especially when it comes to giving people breaks. they're constantly scheduling cart shifts when an employee is supposed to go on their break (minors must go at a certain time. ( constantly forgetting to send people on their lunch or break. And constantly calling people up for Que vison but not getting on a register themselves. Is it really that hard to read from a piece of paper? In addition they constantly pretend as if they don't know where I am but refuse to page me. Am I just a clueless to all the duties of thier job.

The Company doesn't want them on a register except to wait for a relief cashier and then they should go back to queueing customers.  Breaks can be tricky, it depends on how many people you have and how badly things are going. Most front ends use a duty sheet kept at guest care ro self-checkout or somewhere the supervisor isn't going to be.

I cannot figure frontend people out either. You cannot get your break on time anymore. And if you complain about it you get treated like dirt. At my store which is a marketplace we have a lot of backups who is only like 23, 24, and 25 years old who thinks they are the greatest and they can walk over the employees who are nearing retiring age. They will go and tell a lie to management about you. And management believes them because management are the same age as they are.

I wanna see them complain about their job being hard after trying to successfully run a freight crew! I just laugh anymore when I hear anybody else in the store talk to me about how tough their job is. I literally don't get breaks at night, I've got to work and sweat and go go go for my entire shift in order to get everything done. Front end managers are a joke, honestly. Most of them are drunk with power because they think they always have to be in charge, and I've had to remind them a few times that I'm their boss when I'm there lol.

This probably doesn't help, but seeing your post, I just needed to vent. Lol.
