At one point or other I had had ideas of being an HR Training Specialist. Or working with employees that brought the best advantages to the company, as a Talent Management trainer. As I did go to school for business and HR. And possibly could have happened if I were in a different area and had proper HR internship experiences when I was in college. But as I don't live in a larger city or had the internship experience to help me further my experience and education in my field. Those dreams are kaput for the time being.
As for wildest dreams job? I'd say something in the arts. But not like dancing or singing. More like working with glass or pottery or something creative like that. I've found over the years, even if I don't really have the talent for creating many things with such art forms, lol. I find it to be about the most relaxing thing I've ever done when I was in school. So always wondered what a career would be like in that.
Eff that, I am pursuing my HR dream job and I suggest you do too!
How'd you get into your career then if you don't mind me asking? As my biggest road block IS the experience part of things. Just about the majority of jobs I've looked at for HR are requiring some level of experience, I just have never obtained. So that makes it hard to even get a foot in the door.
I work at Kroger and my dream job. I was looking for another job so I could quit Kroger, but then I found out that my new job doesn't have insurance. I'm staying with Kroger only because of the insurance. I also work at a daycare which is my dream job.
