Describe the coworker you hate the most!

I work with this kid on front-end who does nothing more than constantly flirt with every girl, looks at duty list every few minutes, and complains about being tired from lot duty when he was only out there for around 10 minutes. The thing that gets me the most is that whenever he IS doing lot duty he chooses to bring in loads of 3 small carts at a time, while taking his time doing so. When he is doing this, the cart room runs out very quick. And when someone else is doing lot, this guy will follow him around outside and just talk, like it's social time. Most of my coworkers are half-assed **** kickers, but the one I described here is the worst of them. I should probably add that his appearance looks really stupid, with him wearing bright green hi-tops, a sleeveless hoodie over his apron and small shiny earrings..

Oh this is easy. I hate the co-workers that take multiple breaks and have barely done two things. Have two right now that one either goes on a bunch of smoke breaks in between packaging a few cookies, writing on 1 cake, or doing the doughnut slack out. And the other, is a older lady, I get she has hip issues and might need another job where she can sit more often. But she will be like I just gotta take this quick break and so forth. But it's like 4 each day after a couple of tasks as well.

I'm not trying to begrudge folks their cigs or if you need to relax a strained muscle or whatever. But dude, when your on closing or actually doing a bunch of other things. You sometimes need someone to go to the service counter and help out the customers or fill the floor while your running around doing the other stuff. I personally can't be at the service counter, slicing bread, doing doughnut slack out, filling the floor etc. all by my lonesome.

I also can't stand the co-workers that are like the damn town cryers of the dept. Meaning they will see the trash needs taken out. Or the cardboard ran. But nope, they won't take it out. But they will add to it. And if there is even a lick of it missed at night, they are the first to bitch about it to our DH in the morning. Again, I get that on closing you run the trash out and whenever the call blue line. But seriously?! You are telling me all day out of 3 or 4 peeps that have been on during the day, there was just NOBODY that could be found to run out the freaking trash?! I mean, are folks on a totally separate contract where they can't run out ANY trash at all during the day?

And my personal fave are the co-workers that are always harping about what isn't getting done during the night time. But they haven't worked 2nd shift in so long that they don't even know how real the struggle is. Most especially when you are closing on your own, and you can't do half of the major crap that you need to until 5 p.m. Add to that, the customers that want something written on cakes all times of night. Taking orders, getting stuff out of the pastry case, answering the phone. All that fun stuff while making time for your doughnut slack out, cleaning out the doughnut case and boxing the doughnuts, continuous baking if folks ran low on something during the day. All the lovely slicing of the bread. And my personal fave, keeping up with re-freshing the floor as many times as possible when you don't have the majority of the **** you  need in the freezer in the first place. But yes, the 1st shift peeps are just so annoyed how this or that wasn't done. It frustrates them oh so much. But are they going to help out sometime and keep their own glaze buckets clean? Not fling icing all over the place that one of our label makers is looking like it's covered it iced cobwebs? Nope, nada, just keep doing as they do and witching all the way.

I hate people who whines about everything and won't do their job!!! I have one that refuses to do dishes, refuses to clean anything with grease or raw meat, refuses to take out the garbage, and refuses to pick up garbage (even if it falls right in front of a customer). All she'll do is serve the customers, wipe down a counter or two, and leaves her department constantly to go gossip with other employees. Se also calls off work every week.  She gets away with it also. This really makes me mad. Why work for Kroger if you don't want to do the dirty work? I hate LAZY people.

Forgot to add, the lovely co-workers I really hate are the ones that do the most gossiping or pot stirring but NEVER have the balls or lady cojones to just talk to the person they have a beef with! Instead it's like high school with folks older than I am whispering behind each other's backs all the time. Or saying that other people feel this way too or whatever. But they never talk to the person that they have the problem with. I mean what kind of crap is that? I know we aren't necessarily a "team" dept. But at the same time put on your big girl panties and just talk to the other person and quit all this gossiping junk!

I would love to confront the person face-to-face. but she seems to only come around me at the most inopportune  time. You can't say what I want to say in front of customers.  She would be the first one to run and go tell management that I was being inappropriate in front of customers. If I am dealing with a customer and she interrupts "I say to her "I got this" She runs to management and says I was being rude to a customer. If I ask if she'll be okay while I go on break, she runs and tells management that I act like she can't do anything and that I'm being rude to her. Like I said "Whines about everything, but does nothing"

Are you able to trust your dept. head or someone else in authority? If so, and I know so people think its being a tattler. But in all honesty, I think it's keeping it real about someone that is more or less creating an uncomfortable work environment for you. And if it's possible to get taken off shifts that she is on. As it sounds like she is quite the two faced individual. And need someone like that messing with your money that way either.

I have finally start paging management when she would leave the department and be gone for 20 minutes (not on break), but obviously I can't trust them. I went back to work the next day and heard that they were all talking about it, all day. That she told them the total opposite.  Two-faced For Sure. Phony as Hell!

I hate Lazy people. I hate the ones who want a pay check, but aren't willing to do the dirty work to earn it. I was asked the other day, if I was. I guess you can say that I am. I'm prejudice against 'Lazy People'.  I can't stand them they are always in the way and do nothing but stand around gossiping and judging others.

First, I can't stand the co-worker who waits till the last flipen minute to bring carts in on his/her turn and then comes in after only bringing in like 6 carts and then says "your turn". secondly, it drives me crazy when management freaks out and yells at you because you screwed up on a job you where trying your best at, when nobody else would even think of attempting the task.
