Is it okay to wear pants other than work pants to work? I was considering wearing some pants that are somewhat equivalent but NOT leggings. what can I get away with?
I also walk to work a lot and in the summer it's really hot. I sweat like wet dog. I'd like some suggestions on pants that are breathable and appropriate so I can not die.
Not sure if this is only ok for courtesy clerks but when I was hired my HR told me black shorts are acceptable memorial day through labor day which I have been taking advantage of quite a bit because it has been in the nineties every day recently. I have worn black jeans multiple times and nobody has made any mention of it but I usually avoid sweatpants
If you walk to work you could wear gym clothes and carry a small gym bag with your work clothes and change when you get there. They generally won't care unless they think you're smuggling merchandise out in the gym bag.

I would have said, I never saw anybody at my store wearing the black shorts until I saw 2 peeps earlier today in them. Live and learn.
