my shift had just ended at 6am, which is when my store opens and they start turning on uscan. i was fixing to purchase some cheap juice in order to use my debit card to get cash back, as my bank doesn't open until later in the day when i'm in bed. i go to uscan and scan my items and card and put my card into the chip reader, and it freezes! this isn't the first time it's happened to me, so i simply walked to the uscan next to it to pay for it.
now, this is where all hell broke loose. keep in mind, i am not a cashier, so my uscan knowledge is spotty at best. the cashier very rudely said "you're gonna make me very upset if you keep doing this!" she then showed me how to void my items, and said "you do this every day to me and it's pissing me off!" oh, every day huh? you mean the 2 times i've ever done it? so sorry it's my fault for being an idiot and not knowing how to do that. of course, i was very civil and responded to her the exact opposite as she should have to me: with actual respect.
so sorry, lady, for being an idiot, and making you press two buttons. at least i know how to void items so i don't have to listen to her sh1t, but i can't believe the audacity of this woman trying to make me feel like an a$$hole because i was trying to buy a drink. oh by the way, when you scold me and then turn away to laugh at joke with your other coworkers, it really shows what a 2 faced bitch you really are.
Wow, that cashier is really rude. I have been on Uscan quite a bit lately and always make an effort to strike up a convo with employees from other depts I never get to see. And voiding a transaction really should not be that big a deal, sounded like the whole machine needed to be rebooted if the chip reader was freezing. Its not like Uscan is a very involved job, so i enjoy getting to actually do something when a problem comes up or I need to void an order. Not sure what her problem was
