I LOVE the dark red Northwestern Cherries (mostly from the state of WA). I just don't like the dumb ads. (I'm good at compartmentalizing)

Hint: before the price skyrockets again, buy a few, cut them up in small pieces (leaving the pit, of course) and mix them into vanilla ice cream or vanilla yogurt. GOOD!!

I don't see what the big deal is. It's just fruit.

It's not even particularly great fruit. Some of the bags are treated with pesticides that absolutely tear up my mouth. Some bags aren't.

It's it's a bad bag, it's not even worth eating.

It's *expensive* fruit. That's why Kroger chooses to hype it up.

Now, I love fruit, and I enjoyed cherries as a kid, but I don't think Ive really bought them as an adult because come summer time there's deals on strawberries, blueberries, peaches, nectarines. THOSE are what I crave.

Plus the melatonin in cherries makes me sleepy.
