The Caramel Apple Torte cake is finally back in the building!!! And yes I did buy one and it is chilling in my freezer!!!
Anything you guys look forward to this time of year in the seasonal stuff or just have traditional faves that you enjoy?
Another fave for me, but actually comes out towards Christmas is my Southern Comfort Egg Nog and White Fudge covered oreos. MMMMM. And apparently Caramel Apple Torte cake if they decide to bring it back every year. Doubtful, but a girl can dream right?
I've never heard of nor tasted such a cake. What does it taste like? Like an orgasm in your mouth? Out of this world?
Honestly, I had never had the cake either til we were sampling it last month. And to me it is definitely an orgasm in MY mouth for sure. As I tend to enjoy yellow cake, definitely apple flavored stuff and who doesn't like a good caramel as well? Some of my co-workers said it was too sweet for them. And yet these are people that live off the triple chocolate stuff.
Really a great option, as opposed to all of the white with chocolate icing or chocolate with white icing cakes that we have. Which I think irks some of the customers as well at times.
Yea the apple and bavarian packzis are my fave as well.
That is funny you say that about the soft top cookies 4hr. As we could barely keep those things stocked yesterday! I don't know what it was(my guess is being tired of all that pumpkin pie). But yea, I notice the Nutty dunkers and the fudge is flying off the shelves too.
I actually hate the smell. To me, it's the scent of suffering. There's an unopened case somewhere in the side storage room near SCO. I wonder if I can hide it somewhere before they can set up a display.
I dislike caramel, and am indifferent towards pumpkin.
Otherwise, the holiday season only fills me with hate and ill will.

In small doses I like the cinnamon pine cones. But I enjoy the flavor and scent of cinnamon stuff anyway. But I do agree too much can cause headaches and immense suffering for me as well. Just too intense.
There's a flavor out there for everybody. Again, for me caramel in small doses is awesome. Pumpkin can smell good in the pumpkin chocolate chip cookies but I don't like the way it taste.
Sorry to here the holidays aren't more uplifting for you. I love em, as they usually were the times of the year the fam could actually get together. And with my bday being a week after Thanksgiving can still get time to savor the good eats.
And in general, I'm just happy for the weather change. Too much heat just makes me nauseous. And the cooler temps just make it far easier to breath with no sinus issues.
