It looks like we may end up on strike. What are some of you hearing at the other stores?

Haven't heard this, but I'm down in Texas. I don't think you guys have the guts to do it though.

I almost think one UFCW needs to strike to get the attention of MGMT. So many people are leaving in my KMA too!

Low Wages, No Time Off, Retail Hours, Weekends, Do more with less...without any help.

Yep same thing on in my store. People are not willing to work for less than 30 hrs a week, minimum pay, and not enough help to get the job done. It's absurd. Especially if you have mutiple financial expenses including utility bills, rent, mortgage payments, medical bills, car insurance, etc

I haven't heard anything, but I wish it would.

It's easier to get a better job than to make the union do anything, so that's the way things are going around here.  Silly things are happening with hours being cut.  People become upset when they only get 12 to 20 hours.

Honestly, I'm surprised that Kroger hasn't found a way to pay us in scrip currency.

Haven't heard anything either, but I'm in the Columbus Division. We have more than enough issues trying to get other stores up to par and prepared for their grand re-opening. As well as in my own, finding peeps to work in the Chicken shop area.

Hopefully, the strike gets you guys the results you are after and not more trouble for doing it in the first place.

I don't want anyone to strike, but I almost feel the company forgets about the associates at times. A strike is in reality the only way to get KMA-MGMT/GO to understand the associates are not happy! I question what Company MGMT is doing to solve the staffing issues, if you know there is a problem, whats the solution! Remember CEO's answer to Wall Street and also their associates and customers! If their associates are saying there are staffing issues, I'm sure customers see it too!
