What was the context of the conversation with your manager?
Just some questions about how they stock products on the shelves, and what they do when they run out of stuff. He picked up a store phone, and I swear, I didn't hear it ring and he didn't dial a number. Maybe I was annoying and he had better stuff to do. Which I'm sure he does.
I do that when I'm off the clock or on break. There is NO need to converse with me at that time unless it's an EMERGENCY. I want to be left alone during that time.

Oh those are just questions that you can and will learn on your own. He might have just been busy with something else. But don't worry about it, those are relatively minor and it's good you are interested.
