Is there a more efficient way to print bulk tags?

Tagging a shelf full of items manually seems needlessly tedious. Scan an item, change your grip on the RF scanner so you can use the keypad, control-t (short pause) control-t 1, shift your grip back to use the trigger.

If I know an entire shelf needs tagged (thank you valentine candy) and don't care about checking the price first, is there a way to force the handheld to spit out a tag for each item scanned without requiring navigating multiple menus?

I'm not sure of an easier and quicker way to print multiple tags, however have you tried using the yellow button on top of the handheld instead of the trigger.  That way you will not have to change your grip on the handheld.

Instead of CAO use number 2 on the main menu, ESTP (Or something like that it starts with a E), then scan to batch, then pick the template(either 5 or 6 works). Basically scan all the item UPCs then exit out, select print batch(once again not sure but it should say something similar, and it will print everything at once.

Been a while since I did it so going off memory, there might be a few more steps. Ask a department head to show you, hopefully they'll know.

If you want those regular small price tags which are normally found on grocery/GM shelves, ask your price integrity person for a bar code sticker. There are different kinds, like "Print label and order price tag" and "Print and don't order". So you scan the barcode of the product, scan the barcode (which you can stick to your printer) and the printer will print your price tag and either order or don't order a price tag. If you ordered the price tag, it will come for your next price changes.

If you use the above mentioned ESTP > scan to batch, you can print price tags which are found on produce tables/wet rack. Also larger size price tags, like 7x11 inches and such.
