Yes they have removed 4 of our 7 check lanes and added 2 clusters of 6 self checkout. People are complaining if they have a large order and dont wanna use the scan bag go. Its horrible.
So you have 3 manned checkouts now? I can understand FE Transformation, but there should be a standard minimal of 5 of registers. Might as well just turn the Quevision screens in KTV monitors about Kroger PR.
We're getting a store remodel soon along with Scan, Bag, Go, and yeah, our front end will be losing around half of our traditional check out lanes (we have sixteen). They will be replaced with additional self check outs. So yeah... cashier and courtesy clerk hours are about to go down, down, down.
