Today my manager/hr came around to tell everyone that polo shirts must be work always. I have only recieved a zip up smock. He said employees would be sent home or suspended pending investigstion. Apparently you cannot wear just a smock or just a vest you will have to wear a polo under your smock.
Yeah, do that. And when they say, inevitably, that you were provides with one already, tell them you cant wear what you dont own. And then say it another 20 times when they dont listen to you.
and in the meantime, just try to wear something blue or black and 1 solid color. Keep track of everytime they tell you to put one on and you tell them that you dont have a shirt, and who you spoke to.
If they try to do anything to you, demand a union rep, dont say anything until the union rep gets there, and then whip that list out.
Reminds me of our store. They tell us our name badge has to be worn but if someone loses their's, they don't get a new one. The only time they ever provided new ones is when the president of kroger was coming to visit and they got scared and wanted to look good. Then they printed off new badges for everyone who didn't have one.
