We have a problem with excessive paging in our store-how do we get a handle on it? Yesterday I was paged 5 times in  a 40 minute period-more than the managers. It's getting out of hand-any ideas to reduce the noise?

Good question.

What happens if someone keys one of the co-manager phones at the same time an excessively loud and frequent page rolls out?

every store is issued several walkies with ear pieces.  Here at ours we have probably 35.  Most stores don't utilize them,. however they do make it easier to answer pages.  1st you dont have to find a phone to answer.  anyone on the channel can answer if you are not sure of the correct answer.  you can continue to work on what you were doing.  I recommend talking to mangement about getting everyone back on the walkie program.

We tried the walkies in our store-they lasted for all of 1 month then they got lost, disappeared in the store, wouldn't charge, etc

We have the walkies in my store now and several of them already don't work or have been lost. They are nice though, but i don't usually wear the earpiece, i just keep the walkie on in the department.
