So who would I ask to find out clarification on the expiration policy? Atlanta division. After 9 months a write up rolls off. Does that mean a clean slate after 9 months or does that mean the6 can write you up again after the other okbe rolls off?
Example: write up on 2/1/18 rolls off 11/1/18. So would they have to start with a new verbal warning after 11/1 or could they instead write you up and say you were warned months ago.
Usually after the write up expires you are on a fresh slate. HOWEVER, it will remain in your file as proof you were warned. However they cannot look back and say, "Oh, OP has been written up 2x over 2-3 years ago for xxx incident. Lets fire him/her. On e the write up expires its done and over. It just stays in your file for proof that you were warned.
So yes, they'd have to start all over again with the verbal warnings etc, leading to the write up.

Basically from what i understand. For example: 2 years ago i was written up for a lunchtime violation. Now say i did it again... they would have to go through the verbal warning(s) first before the write up. Yes, its the same incident, but it happened way passed the expiration date of the first write up.
Is your write up past its date?
I would talk to your manager, hr, or union rep for clarification.
If it was not a formal write-up put in the employees file, then the action does not constitute disciplinary action.
