Just wondering but customers are always calling the store "Krogers" instead of just Kroger and insist on calling a Kroger card a "Krogers card". I think its kinda weird. KAnyone else think so? I think its weird to add a letter to the name
It probably has to do with the fact that Kroger is an actual surname and not just a trade or brand name. Many places like stores or restaurants that are named after somebody often add the 's . So it becomes automatic for people to add it even when it's not there

Youre a krogerite face it
kroger needs to change their signs so customers realize how much of a monopoly they are.
I work with people who refer to our store as Fred Meyers...no, it's Fred Meyer. I also know employees at Chipotle who can't pronounce the name of the place where they work too. It's pronounced CHI-POAT-LAY, not CHI-POLE-TAY. Learn the name of the place where you work, it's not that hard!

It's like when customers call QFC QVC then present their QVC card and it scans as not found. Then we have to tell them that's not where you're at. It's no like we already told them ten times before they got here. :?/
Please explain that to the "nuc-u-lar" crowd. Nuclear is the word, but the L is misplaced and a long U gets added (no letter U is in the word at all) when spoken. I hear it from many folks in very respectable positions. It pains me when I hear supposedly well-educated people saying it wrong (even some Presidents).
