Anyone else's store have a large percentage of people who can't seem to hold a job and are just as flaky and bad as it? They seem to do a half a** job at it and don't seem to care about the quality of their work. All I know is after 2.5 years at this smaller store I'm beginning to realize that most of the staff at this location fall into that category. The small percentage (like me) that do a good job just can't cut a break because we're always covering the lazy staff's rear ends.
Most people who are worth a darn don't work for this company. Nothing against you, but you can and probably should work for a better company.
I'm starting to realize that. At my last location it wasn't too bad. They'd find a way to weed out the bad but at this location I'm currently at it's terrible. It's like where they sent all the flaky people to work so that they could watch them. Instead of doing anything about it they just let them do what ever the hell they want. No one is held accountable for any thing and fu-ck the middle man.

kroger pays half ass then youll get half ass work. I highly doubt youre a lol good worker. Sounds like youre trying to shift blame on others for your mediocre work ethics. maybe app to Taco Bell or deliver newspapers?
They dont pay good wages. They cant keep cashiers and some of them quit without notice or walk out in the middle of their shift and dont come back so I pick up some of the . I stick around because there isnt really much else for me but the pay isnt good and its obvious why they cant keep people.
I don't know about other departments, but the amount of pay isn't worth the bs they expect us to do in the deli for new people. So either no one applies or they quit right away.
I h Kroger would stop hiring the special needs folks. I had to close with one tonight and he just won't communicate with anyone. He even asked me who I was he said
If you truly get what you pay for, we'd have the fourth worst employees in the US.
Seriously, though, Kroger is employment of last resort like McDonald's or Walmart.
Low wages and poor benefits aren't going to attract quality workers, and screwball random schedules weed out any that have responsibilities outside work.
