Atlanta division employee here....why are our managers going bat s*** crazy about the lot? They say we have to have it cleared by 9PM before our produce doors are locked for the night. Is this happening in your store too? I don't get all wound up about stuff like this-I know the lot will be cleared by that time and that is it and if we have some carts left after 9PM, that is life
Shopping carts I assume? At our store management goes batsh*t crazy because we have no carts. We say to order more but management goes into hurr-durpa-durr we need more carts. Go get the ones that are clearly not there.
I've done more closing shifts than I'd care to count. I have never heard of anything like that. After I get done with bathrooms, whether it's 10pm or a little before, I take my last break and then get the lot. I'm usually done around 11. Depending on how many carts come through the lane I'll figure on how often I need to do periodic checks. At 11:45 I'm done since no one is coming to the lane with a cart.
