They say it's anonymous, but will the person I reported know it was me? Will there be retaliation? I don't regret a thing as far as calling, and i'm considering leaving my position, possibly transferring to another store and department due to the way I was treated.
I have used Ethicspoint with mixed results. I am (still!) in contact with our Union over an issue with a co-manager. Last time I used them I made an anonymous complaint about customers abusing our tax-free program. Our store has lost close to 6 figures. I got a response saying that Kroger "didn't want to delay customers" by asking them to prove they were entitled to such a status but they did say they do spot checks-but I have yet to see that.

Sounds like a DM or a nasty Coordinator. Many hire ups are protected unless they crossed a serious line nothing will probably happens to them unless someone more powerful doesnt like them.
