Still have not received my check in the mail
Permalink

My paycheck still ha snot shown up since right before Christmas. I was supposed to have gotten it on Saturday the 21st, but it is the day after Christmas and it still is not here. Been getting my checks the same way for 5 months now and the store knows I have no money for transportation and no food and my family wasnt able to have a Christmas because it never came. Is anybody else who gets paper checks having issues with getting their checks this week due to the holiday? The store said its a problem with my mail carrier and not their faults. any advice or help? Note, I did just sign up for direct deposit but this check would have been mailed. Do we get checks late around this time or something if its paper or?

There is a possibility it could have gotten mixed in the mail. I sent a payment for one of my personal bills and I had to go to the offices of the  company because I kept getting notices that it wasn't paid. It finally showed on their system after the second or third time I had to be there.

The only time I had a problem with getting a check mailed to me was my final check. If anything I'd say UPS screwed up somewhere. You may need to call payroll, confirm the check was mailed to the right address, and check with your post office.

It might be worth retaining an attorney to help us deal with HR.  Mostly just for communication, not litigation.  I don't want to talk to the bastards and if the attorney represented several thousand of us in one little area it would be less expensive.  Could help with dealing with district attorneys, the union, or anyone else we need to communicate with.  When one person alone communicates with criminal organizations like Krapper it is hard to get anything but BS and retaliation.
