K.O.M.P.A.S.S is actually just the company program of what goes on Plan O Gram. But yes, some vendors do pay a fee to get their items on the shelf, a more prominent location on the shelf or more facings. The paying for the spot is called "Slotting Fees".
Yes. When you see poor selling items with multiple facings, while items that sellout daily off of shelf with a single facing, Kroger has received a few for those multiple, eye level facings - little do they know replacing the facings with items that actually sell would probably gain them more money - but i dont think kroger is in. the business to make money anymore.
