Same thing at your store? We have to chase them away from the front of our store and tell them they can't be bothering our customers for money. It's getting ridiculous.
We have to kick some of our homeless away as well. Our usuals are respectful and take No as an answer if given. Sometimes we get new guys who pester our customers and when the customers get irritated, it can and does become physical with some of the more "insistant" homeless.

And you call that feeding the human spirit? You associates are a JOKE and liars.
Here the homeless people hang out at the bistro all day, they're usually fine and very friendly, occasionally some cause issues. One once swore at a few employees for no reason(including me) and got himself kicked out and another recently flipped out at another guy because he offered him a plate of food. Some of them also try to do my job for me which is an issue too. I wish there was a better place for them to go, some of them have mentioned working but just cant afford homes. They're kinda taking over though, occupying tables all day so idk what management will end up doing if it becomes too big a problem.

First, I don't give two sh*ts about 'Feeding the human spirit' second, if we don't kick the more obnoxious homeless out That cause problems they're going to confront a customer that's going to beat the cr@p out of them.

Look you really need to have uplift stories to feed those humans. and second you parade on this forum that you dont give a **** about kroger or customers so let the homeless annoy customers. 2 things can happen 1 : customer might get beat up enough they wont come back and 2 : you can all watch the fight go don and maybe place some bets!

I kind of expect someone to be assaulted at some point by a confrontation. Its one reason why I want to get out of Kroger. I do not want to get caught up in that kinda thing. Not all of them are nice people. Also we are not homeless shelters. Kroger is a business, not a charity. They need help we cant give.
We had a creeper live in our eating area for three weeks before management kicked him out. He kept hitting on the kids and people were afraid to use it.
My last location had this issue too. Just like libraries there's nothing you can really do about it. You can do little things like place rules on the complex to keep certain individuals out but it's up to management to enforce them or not. If you get enough customer complaints that's when managers can do something about it. Eventually they can be trespassed if they over stay their welcome. People were sleeping in our eating area at my last location so they blocked it off with carts and eventually a flap door that locked to keep people from going in and out of it.
