The union rep and store manager are tools, and I told the rep to his face today I don't want his representation I only call if I have a pay issue. He said I can send an email saying  I don't want his representation, I'm fine with doing that, but I will not be paying the union if that happens. What's the national number?

I'm amazed you have anyone at your local who would act as rep.  During our last contract negotiation the company decided to change the image of worst thug in town and put ufcw materials up in the break room with contact information and such.  Now there is no obvious reason to contact the rep here.  I want to warn the people applying so bad but it is real hard to get to them.  Cameras and informers everywhere.

Warn the people applying to Kroger, or the people applying for rep jobs? Yeah the rep was ridiculous, very ashamed to be paying the union. Non union people are getting treated way better. I used to be pro union. But now I think Kroger needs to get rid of them.

I found the national number useful for when your rep is HORRIBLE!
