One of our ASM's is basically ****ing bricks at all times.
She's a borderline competent alcoholic with loose morals and a big fake rack that took her further than she ever dreamed of.
Everyone hates her, and it's a wonder she escaped the last purge.
She's closing the fuel center early to cut hours, writing people up for using sick pay (with doctor's notes), and all kinds of shenanigans.
She should be rightfully fired, but here we are.
As a former employee. I have to suffer literally no falloit or worry about politics.
This woman sucked her way into a job, then sucked her way out of a firing, and will suck her way out of expectations or accountability. Both her and every hiring manager that got her those jobs, should be fired.
Question for anyone in Atlanta division. Just read on another forum that three DM's were laid off (which means fired) and 8 DM's and coordinators were demoted. Is this true?
DMs being fired isnt necessarily a bad thing. Most I have worked with are total jerks.
I agree there are a lot who need to go away. I was wondering if it was true for a couple of reasons. It seemed like a large number and I was wondering if they are making each district a DM has larger so you need less of them. Also, where do the demoted ones go to? Are they bumping SM's and taking over stores?
A second assistant manager was affected by this at my store. Saturday was her last day there. She's been at my store for maybe 3 years.
My first assistant manager was let go during the first firing wave a few months ago. Right after they let her go they brought in some guy from corporate. I think we might be getting another corporate guy to replace the second manager.

Yep, the corporate guy started this morning. Now we have two assistant managers from corporate.
