Does any one know why Louisville is requiring all managers and ASMs to meet in Louisville Wednesday. Not a single manager will be at my store and two repif managers are tasked with running the store that day?
After a mass firing/restructure, companies have these types of meetings to eliminate any future speculation and to get people all on the same page. It could also be an announcement of another structural change of the Division.
Yes, they normally have meetings for big changes or to "calm" everyone down (after Oct. firings). In our division, they have at least two and stagger when managers attend. Please keep us updated when you find out what meetings were about.
Im an ASM in Louisville. This actually happens twice a year. its just a report out on financials and each store sets goals for the next half of the year. The rest of the day is pretty much the division office trying to get people excited for sales. Its time not well spent but shouldnt be anything major happening
Well Cincy/Dayton used to have a year in review, got people excited and some team bonding, eliminate years ago. Actually, the company hasn't had an ALL Company STR MGMR summit recently.....
