Cleaning who has time for that!

You take the odd days for cleaning I'll take the even days for cleaning.

What! We're going to clean every day?! Every day! **** that. Says the other.

Well it's I'll take the even days... Argues...

End result a room so dirty it's worse than before you even attempted cleaning.

Cleaning party. Why the **** did I even bother.

Who the **** has time for that when we're assisting hordes of customers clearing out our shelves because they're freaking out and paranoid. In the past two days I've barely touched the cleaning products because there's zero time for that. Customers get cranky when you're not scanning product and there's zero time between customers and lines.

To fight the COVID, offsite fuel is supposed to bleach the pumps on the hour every hour.  That takes half an hour to do correctly if there's no customers.

Good thing the store scheduled extra help for that, right?

LOL.

We're in the midst of a hiring crisis since even McDonald's pays more.  In particular, our new hire appears to be a tweaker who likes to smoke weed on break.

No biggie since it's just a gas station, right?

The store has him cashiering at the store instead, and particularly on load days since that's when we have extra help scheduled.

Like today.

I didn't bleach a single pump and I still couldn't finish the load.  ****.

I almost wish I could catch it so I could cough on all the bills and pinpads.

I had 1 time where I cleaned and that's because a customer b-i-t-ched about a spill. Other spills just wore off to heavy use.
