i heard that you get two weeks' paid leave if you are diagnosed with coronavirus
is this true, and on what authority? what if you can't get a test since it's difficult to get a test (my state can process 60 tests a day?)
seems pretty ****ty if you can't work for two weeks or more and can't get paid and can't come back even if you feel better
i work in the pharmacy so i've been expecting to have job security through this thing, but what if one of our staff gets sick (probably inevitable)?
observing my co-workers' poor hygiene (coughing into hands, wiping nose and not washing hands, casually rubbing their eyes or eating) i suspect we'll be wiped out pretty fast
With the new policies coworkers that lack in hygiene will be told to step it up a bit. This time it is being enforced. I'm seeing a change with select coworkers of mine. They're actually sending people home who forgot to bathe before work and then come back.
