I just got an email from my union(Michigan) that they are trying to get a $2 Hero pay increase on top of the bonus. I wonder how far that will get and whether other divisions are trying to get that also.
Yall dont really need or deserve these bonuses. Yall don't even stock the shelves and yall should be thankful you still have jobs. yall already make top dollar as it is! Rodney sure is kind and generous to his workforce.
We don't deserve the bonus? You got jokes! We are working on fumes with barely enough product to fill the shelves, subject to unwarranted bitching from customers, at extreme danger everyday we work during this pandemic but you think we don't deserve the bonus! We deserve much much more than what were getting better yet let us have your bonus.

Yes I would like to say thanks for what Yall's are doing. I ordered Groceries yesterday for pickup. I cannot get until Sunday the 5th. But I am not gonna be a dick. I am gonna be patient at times like this. It is rough right now working in Grocery business. If this does not get better soon I see a strike coming the way customers treating employee's and the employee's being over worked. Sometimes I think maybe Kroger should go to online orders only but not sure how that would work. Maybe limit how many people can be in the store at a time.
Across the country, Americans are facing unprecedented challenges. From shelter-in-place orders to supply shortages, the COVID-19 virus continues to create uncertainty and worry for many. In these troubling times, you have shown the true meaning of hero, working tirelessly on the frontlines, upholding Our Purpose and to ensure everyone has access to affordable, fresh food and essentials.
Recently, we announced an appreciation bonus for our hourly frontline associates. This gesture was to thank you for everything you have done during these past few weeks. However, we recognize that this crisis is far from over, and after reflecting on feedback from you, we want to further acknowledge you for your hard work to date as well as the work yet to come.
Beginning March 29 and through the next three weeks, our hourly associates on the frontline in retail stores, manufacturing plants, distribution centers, central fills, pharmacies and call centers, will receive a Hero Bonus. This bonus, paid out on a weekly basis, will equate to a $2 an hour premium above your standard base rate of pay. The premium will be applied to the hours you work between March 29 and April 18. Youll receive your first of up to three bonus payments on April 10.
We hope this Hero Bonus continues to convey our thanks and gratitude not only to our existing associates, but also to the more than 30,000 new hires who have recently joined and those who will continue to join our family of companies.
Beyond saying thanks, we also are continuing efforts to help you feel safe and supported at work. For the latest details and information on expanded Emergency Leave Guidelines, additional safety measures and benefits that are available to you during this time, visit the COVID-19 article here on FEED.
Be sure to watch this video from Chief People Officer Tim Massa as he thanks you
^ Is this the same bonus? Or something else in addition?

Thank you for being understanding! We are completely booked up in Pickup and they want to keep adding more and more to our plates. It's getting hard to keep up when every day we are maxed out on orders...

Someone posted on pissedconsumer.com that Kroger should only have clicklist available for Kroger customers. That Kroger should close their doors to the public.
^ I've heard that there are already stores doing that. Cincinnati, maybe? Anyway, seems the final word on bonuses is that we're getting the $150/300 checks on the 3rd, and that the $2/hr bonus started at the beginning of this week.
Yall better praise Rodney for bailing you out and having sympathy for you all! Thats a lot of dough to be handing out to yalls for doing pretty much nothing. In Rodney yall should trust!
^ I was the post before you. It's not loading for me either, now. Weird. It was showing a $260 check ($300 taxed) in addition to my normal check, both with the same date on them.
