My store manager is requiring employees to come in sick. I tried to call out yesterday and he told me to call him back in two hours "when you might feel better." Is this even legal? I am in the Local 1996 Atlanta GA area. I ended up coming in because the hassle of calling out wasn't worth it
You really shouldnt have to feel like that. If you cant come in then oh well. A asst manager questioned me when i called on super bowl sunday and i dont even watch football! **** those people

No never. It's a food safety violation. With covid19 there's a zero work while sick policy right now. If you're illness goes on more than 2-3 days you should get a dr's note for job safety.

I can vogue for this. I quit Kroger and posted pictures of some food safety issues.
Spent 6 months internally trying to get it to matter. It mattered in less than 3 minutes on Twitter in public.
