Welcome to kroger sucks. Now you know why kroger can't hold onto staff. New hires got screwed 3-4 contracts ago. A lot of us only work here due to the fact it's our weekly pay check in a sh-itty job market.

another i386 who claims to have quit but still comes here like he cares. So another words you never quit and youre still there.

I quit in 2015. I worked there for 14 months as a courtesy clerk.
I had to take a second job the last several months that I was there because the wages and hours just were not adding up to what you would call a "living wage".
If I got $100, groceries would take up 1/3 or 2/3rds of that, even with the discount. I didn't have car insurance because I was walking or bicycling, so that helped.

I had a phone that was prepaid. Basically, even with weekly pay, with those ****ing union dues, taxes and low hours, I was lucky to pick up $100 a week.
Way below the poverty line. Minimum wage at $7.25 wasn't cutting it.

I quit in 2014 every now and then I pass by here for old times. It was hell before I quit so I can only imagine the BS going on now.

Quit at the end of 2018.

I got a call, trying to call me in for overtime, November 2019.

I lost my Kroger discount the next day.

Should of agreed and never showed up.

Also a meat manager has contacted me asking me to return recently.

I will never go back but I might end up scheduling a few shifts. Or reapplying. It's 2 years later and I'm still being harassed for OT.
