No Hours Given Next Week, Glitch?

Ralphs San Diego employee here. When my schedule was posted I had zero hours on it. The new week was posted but no work at all that week. Has anyone else seen this? I wasn't fired and I still am an employee for sure, but they didn't put me on the schedule at all. went from 37 hours to 0 hours the next work week schedule.

Things are crazy. If the schedule was autorun and someone didn't finish modifying it it is very likely that your time is blank. We need bodies badly. Talk to a manager and work the week flex. They will greatly appreciate having a floater. Have I mentioned that things are crazy? Stay safe and healthy.

Which version of the schedule did you look at? The online version doesn't always coincide with the paper version. Check the paper version and, if you can, bump some people's hours to get your hours. As a side note, ask the ones you're going to bump before you do. They might let you go ahead and return the favor to them should they ask as well.

Managers can give staff what ever hours they want to make the store run. There's a clause in the union hand book regarding that. Hours are not guaranteed. Most stores are going to seniority based schedules. Well if you're bottom of the barrel for seniority you're hours are screwed. Now for being taken off the schedules chances are they may have skipped you on the select a schedule and by passed you all together. In which case you need to talk to them about being put on the schedule. If they say no then you have to file a union grievance. If they decided to take you off the schedule all together well then you'll need to talk to the store about that first. Then go to the union if something is fishy.

Oh senior position here as I been working for them for 6 years already. Schedule is normally on auto write but last week it was late 8 hours and this week no schedule at all. it used to be 12:18pm Fridays on the dot a new schedule was written. So either this one was never written or no longer automated. maybe last minute shifts will show up on this blank week, but its the first time I ever seen it do this. and yeah stores need the staff now, so its probably some sort of scheduling glitch. Definitely didnt quit or fired lol.
