Has anyone noticed this? Not all, but most women, especially in the 30 to 70 age group, now have the sloppiest, ugliest, trashiest, messed up hair styles (and I don't mean after Covid19 started, I mean LONG before that) but especially in the last 3 to 5 years, it has been getting worse and worse.
If you look at the hair styles in movies from the 1920s, '30s, 40s, 50s, 60s or even into the '70s, (or in most Westerns that took place in the 1870s-1890s usually) the hairstyles on the average woman looked a hundred times more classy than the trash styles we see nowadays.
Many women now come into the grocery stores looking exactly like they just got up off the couch, without running a comb or brush through their hair, after sleeping off a bad drunk last night. What is the matter with girls nowadays???

RE: Women's hair styles, in general, are the worst and ugliest looking now than ever in the history of the United States
No different than in the early 2000's men started using purses and calling them satchels. Up until the 1990's they used briefcases. Now it's considered okay for men to wear purses and society just sucks it up. Well no different than women wearing jeans and getting the odd ball look now when one tries to wear a dress or skirt.
I disagree that the "30 to 70 age group" have the worst hair styles. Have you seen the green and blue hair that the teens and twentysomethings are sporting?!

fanny packs? You should see the womens hair styles down here.. they are god awful black with gold tips. The girl at work has blue with streaks of black never looks washed looks like you can just brush flakes off.

Yes, but now the blue, purple, green, maroon and pink colors are being adopted by LOTS of older women in the 40 to even 80 age group. At least in my area............. and it all looks AWFUL!!! I saw a woman yesterday who must have been at least 70, with purple hair, pink toenails and awful mascara/eyeliner that looked like it has been applied by a child who enjoyed playing with crayons, and skin tight leotards / pedal pushers (whatever you call them). Unbelievable!
If she had magically had the ability to time-travel, and suddenly was whisked instantaneously back into 1947 New York City (even downtown at Times Square), she would have been arrested for insanity and thrown into jail within one hour!!
