So at my store the code of ethics goes right out of the window. Here we have multiple members of management that feels that it is okay to not only talk down to employees, but to also do it in front of other employees. Yet we are supposed to adhere to respect and integrity. The worst part is that this was told to me my first week as a new employee that this is a consistent problem. However nothing has ever came of it and it continues. So my take on this is that they allow a hostile work environment to commence and there are never any Repercussions for any sort of misbehavior. I have notified my ASM and my hr dept of the current problem however it is being swept under the rug. At the end of the day those who make salary and high end hourly care not of the situations that arise here. However if it wasnt for the rest of us supporting your job role there would not be any sort of successful venture within this company. Employees must be treated better.
Most people at my store get cold shoulder until they become part of the coworker family. Otherwise it's 100% rules crammed down their throat. Boy did I end that fast with an ethics report. I filed it under favoritism. I got tired of certain coworkers having the rules over looked on them while others got the rules crammed down their throats until they had panic attacks.
