Are they scared of being sued?

Part of the problem is that They are just plain crazy and like to make people suffer.  The more you complain the more they feel in control.  The worst managers might have trouble finding other opportunities and can be asked to commit a wide variety of crimes.

They want cheap help and it takes for ever to fire someone. Especially a white  collared job. Have an issue use the ethics hotline. They love to investigate b.s. that happens in stores. It took several years to fire our Starbucks manager but after several complaints in a row they looked at the track record and decided they wanted them no more.

We have had a manager in our store have at least 10 complaints filed against her and she is still there. Our store manager chalks it up to "different management styles"-Ethics Point and the local Union are useless in this situation
