Our store was heavy on it for 2.5 months then just stopped. Like the 20 minute hand washing requirement. It lasted 3 days then stopped. Those that were ritual about it continued to do it but they've for the most part completely stopped. We use to have decent plastic gloves but now they're the garbage ones they use in the deli. I gave up and started purchasing my own plastic gloves. Save receipts and write them off as ppe. I've been doing this for years.
There's a sign up in my store saying that temp checks must be done before work every day but it's been at least 3-4 weeks since they actually took my temp, not that it really mattered anyway.

Our manager just goes around with the thermometer from dept. to dept. and catches everyone while walking the floor...He'll come to us instead of us going to him...

I'd be perfectly fine with this. At our store, we had to basically walk around the store looking for the manager doing temperature checks. I've had my temp checked maybe 3 times.
I'm just saying that our store stopped them about month three. Those that are ritualistic in them do them but I'd say 80% of our store goes without a temp check. Half the time there's no manager in the office and you spend the first 15 min trying to find one to do it. I'd do it my self but they need a witness so it doesn't work.
