In reality, the .01-.99 credit to the shopper card is a best option and completely solves the issues until the issue is over.

Here is an idea for making a donation. Do you have a neighbor that has a loyalty card and really relies on every discount they can get? Let THAT phone number be your card.

Yes, the store is ordering change from the bank, if the bank doesn't have any and other retailers/business don't have any either, what would you like the store to do? I think its funny now people cant look past what they might be experiencing and see the real issue. If someone could actually step back they would notice what might be actually happening, the government isn't out to get you, big business isn't out to @#$# you over. How many scandals have basically tanked a big company or cost them 25X more issues then and benefits they might have received. How about you just take some things for their face value, their is a coin shortage, we can't make change.......so pay with correct change, use a card or in this situation get the rounded amount applied to your next purchase. You know if everyone would actually use the change they are given, there wouldn't be any issue.
