My store stopped due to "problems with the thermometer".
I've been meaning to ask a sympathetic manager about it. I strongly suspect that it's due to difficulty locating the trigger. Or possibly, dead batteries.
Secretly, I suspect it may have been missing positives (surprise surprise).
My store never took it seriously. It was made the employee's responsibility and there were no checklists nor signoffs. I went weeks without being checked.
Well, you know what they say, "Feed the Kroji". I'm pretty sure that's it.
Yeah we did it in my store for like maybe a week, with one of those thermal thermometers, that obviously weren't even designed for that purpose. Then we just stopped doing it.
We still have it done...The manager comes around to each department and scans everyone...But, it's been hit-and-miss, depending on who the manager on duty happens to be...
Not really. You can play 'find a manager' at the start of your shift but most not bothering. The other day there were no masks so I guess they want us to provide our own. Like the uniforms that can be whatever we want as long as that are approved and we buy our own? I don't remember asking for that, either.nsl36
