The user makes self check out difficult not the computer. I've been doing this gig 12 years I've watched people make self check out more difficult for them selves than need be. It's designed for low functioning individuals to use and half of you can't figure it out. It literally the fu-ck tells you want to do and you pople have an issue with something telling you how to do things. I am an sco attendant and I am med/high functioning and I watch retarded "normal" adults fu-ck up on it every day.
Cussing under your breath and at the attendant is a great way to find your self without service.
Seniors if you're going to cuss your way through sco don't use it!
Self check out isn't an attendant free environment. It has the same level of interaction as at a register. Most kroger stores won't let us use the hand held. We still have to get up to the monitor and touch it. Don't be di-cks about it.
The computer is more accurate than you think. Stop harassing us about how it's not taking the discount off. Or you selected the wrong produce code.
Stop asking us to clean the damn machines they are not designed for that. You come in wearing gloves a mask and still ask us to clean them. We're done. Most of us have given up cleaning because we're tired of dealing with negative shi-tty attitudes.

Please stop taking huge @$$ orders through self check out. It's not designed for that. I'd say max out at about $150 and you'll be fine.
Right now we're short on staff. No fu-ck you'll only find one cashier in the register a lot. Company got jealous and cut our hours so the ceo can get a huge fu-cken bonus as if his salary of 21 million wasn't enough.

nah customer service isnt that important. they are easily replaceable. Hate returning things at kroger they always smell like sh!t back there.
I have been feeling angry at customer people lately. Sometimes a perfectly good kroger victim walks up and I silently address them with really bad language while providing a friendly offer of service. Feeling stressed. You are not alone
