But if they refuse to do it...there's nothing that can be done...my store has refused to sponsor certain fundraising events. Once we politely declined a special needs event and they (the ones that organized it) just about had a fit. But what can they do? If Kroger won't sponsor, then it just makes them look bad.
Why do people always feel their events should be sponsored by an non-revilement organization? Its its Football, shouldn't a sporting goods store or fitness organization sponsor it? Yes, the company supports a lot of different events/organizations. People forget to understand, with COVID, any company would get bad PR from pulling their already committed funds. But with these companies normally get visibility with signed at stadiums, etc. With no fans in the stadiums, this $$$ is basically just funding to the sporting organizations without any benefits. Why would a company sponsor something 2X....?
If you want it streamed, get a few Iphones and stream it on Facebook! If its high school, get the Tech Classes to make this a class assignment!
Are you management f---s at Kroger going to sponsor a weekly game of the week video stream this year in the Dayton, Ohio area?
If not, f u.
They will close the stores because the bag boys most play Football and the pretty little cashiers are cheerleader. So on Friday night don't expect any Kroger to be open.
They can easily do what they want. No one can say me what to do. For example, I`m a gambling man, I like bets, but I never will make a bet, if I don`t know that I would win. So that`s why I always check dota 2 news before some predictions. With the right analytics will be win bet.
Why do people feel companies are "mandated" to provide funding or donations for a special event? Companies only sponsor or advertise events that have exposure, if your even is small and for has a limited reach....good luck.
