a note to file is a statement of something that happened. it's a lower step than a write up (constructive advice). the union won't get involved in a NTF, just CA
Write up is a form of punishment that says you did something wrong.
Three write ups = suspension.
Three suspensions = termination.
This can happen fast or slow. If you get written up ask them to explain it to you. If you don't feel it's fair you can file a union grievance and they can often reclassify it as a clerical error. Back when the manager was penciling me in last minute and not telling me I got them in trouble because they were not informing me 48 hrs before the shift change.
Yeah but my phone is a Note 3 because that's what I can afford so does that mean like "3 Notes to File" or are they just going to backdate their writeups three weeks ago like they do for everone else lol>?

Hi there and thanks so much for clarifying this difference. It was not obvious for me from the first glance. Normally we have a free documentary flow in the office, don't know whether it is good or not so. I would check here for any writing help, because I think that I should concentrate on my direct responsibilities, not compiling notes for the records etc.
