You are to do your job 150% till the last customer is out of the store. You will also take a thorough bath and stop smelling like sh!t. Your hours were cut cause youre doing a terrible job. In reality it all depends on the stores ELMS setup, most stores will not have enough sales to justify a lane open after some point. I'm not saying its right, just know that the FE Leader should decide "what is needed" and schedule it (within reason). With ELMS you are never going to get the cashier hours unless you have a cashier ringing up customers. When stores closing at 9pm (COVID earlier in the year), ELMS is using past weeks trends for future schedules. As long as your ringing up orders, you will earn the hours and ELMS will eventually call for a cashier. With ELMS your damned if you do, damned if you don't, while they tell you to not be over or under, sometimes you need to have an overage and not care about your schedule rating.
