We do listen to science. It's just that we choose to listen to the science that contradicts Fauci's and the WHO's claims about the seriosness and scope of the virus. I don't get my information from what you call "fake news outlets". I get it from medical sites that have just as much credibility as the ones you go to. This is what makes me suspicious and skeptical. Fauci and the others claim that a vaccine is the only solution. They say antibodies that are acquired from having the virus last only a few months but they fail to mention that that occurs in many cases with immunity. The antibodies remain in the blood as long as there's an immediate threat. When the crisis is over, the antibody level decreases. However, and this is important, there are cells that are stored in different parts of the body that have the ability to create those same antibodies should the virus come back. Also, a vaccine basically mimics an infection. It causes the body to produce an immune response. The difference is the virus is unable to reproduce. So why would an immune response triggered by a vaccine be any better than an immune response triggered from having the actual virus?

That does not mean that 9 million people have it now. That's how many people have gotten the virus since March, 2020. You could pick any disease and over enough time millions of people will have caught it. The virus is related to one of the viruses that causes the common cold. That's why so many people have caught it. Also, under normal circumstances, most people would have shrugged it off if they thought they were catching a cold. Now, someone gets a cough and they panic and run to the doctor thinking they're going to die. Yes, many people have died, but it's not just because of the virus. If that were true, the virus would be deadly to everybody.

You need to get your information from sources that state just the facts and don't try to editorialize them. Phrases like "It could" or "It may" or "There's a chance" do not introduce facts. An expert could say, "Covid-19 could cause some people to grow a third nipple on their nose." and people would worry every time they got a pimple just because someone said it could happen.

* You check out at a counter, there's a plexiglass barrier and the clerk is wearing a mask---but you both exchange money with bare hands.

* Adults are masked up but little kids aren't. Why not? They're one of the target demographics.

OK, how about this? There are things we can do, though...For one, just wear a mask or face covering of some sort..I mean, HOW HARD IS IT??? Even a T-shirt or bandana over the face will do!!! And you can look like a cool Wild West cowboy in the process...
