It should be posted on a hand written card at the entrance on the day or any manager can make a guess or ask a manager they work for and just tell people anything. If someone calls asking put them on hold and page for customer service.
We close at 6:00 p.m. this year. It used to be 4:00 p.m. However, since Walmart and other stores are closed on Thanksgiving this year to thank their employees for all the hard work during the virus, we get thanked by working a couple extra hours.

I would just like to know why some stores close and some don't? And why not just close Thanksgiving Eve at 4 pm or 6 pm like Christmas?
Thanksgiving is a slow day, just people normally getting the odds and ends. In my area stores always closed at 5pm, late enough for people to get what they needed, early enough for employees to get home for Thanksgiving dinner.

Here is what I think. Kroger should always close on Thanksgiving and Christmas. Both the Holidays the day before should close at 6PM. If people have not got what they need tough titte ', said the kitty, when the milk went dry.

We close at 7pm. And last year our manager too had the 'Tough Titty Kitty' motto when it hit that time. Customers screamed and pulled at the shut doors saying they were 'Corporate spouses etc'
But get this: The ACTUAL SPOUSE was OUT OF STATE visiting relatives. It was hillarious.
