So why is it okay for this fat hoe to take two 15 min breaks and 6 smoke breaks? Thats stealing time as far as Im concerned but guess what fat ass Im taking two 25 min breaks now any time Im working with this over weight shrek. Not to mention she always has candy in her fat chops. She keeps a small bag in her pocket and is always munching on the ****. I swear these people act like theyll die if they dont get a smoke break

I've lived on both sides of the addiction argument. Now? I say IL-legalize it all. It's insane. Everywhere you go everyone reeks of weed, and they can't add single digits, show up to work on time (if at all) or understand simple routines and instructions. Their moods swing like a broken screen door. Drugs are harmless? Not to we innocent clean people just trying to work our jobs and drive safely.
Cigarette smokers cost more in productivity than non smokers who are chronically sick from naturally occuring illnesses. Fact.

See I agree with this. But hey I told the store manager if they get a smoke break then so do I and guess what? I dont smoke. Im done with these f a g s taking 5 smoke breaks plus their lunch and 15s. Now I get a lot of breaks daily any time they go so do I.

Just wanna say, I don't smoke and I don't think it's good for you, and I don't support taking extra smoke breaks. However, pretty much all the adults in my department smoke, and they don't take extra breaks and they work really, really hard in a super understaffed and stressful department. I am proud to work with them, and I don't like you making sweeping generalizations about everyone who smokes

I dont give a **** what you like and dont like. If they work like they say you do and take less breaks then good for them I guess they dont get thrown in with the rest of the bunch. Besides bagging groceries aint sh!t compared to overnight. Try actually knowing what really working HARD actually is.

Also, I'm not saying that my job specifically is stressful, although it does have it's moments especially when I'm a cashier for the day, but others on the FE have it a lot harder. I'm sure overnight is hard work, but there are different struggles for different departments. Correct me if I'm wrong, but I doubt management is always breathing down your neck, getting on you for every little thing, I doubt you spend much time getting yelled at by angry customers for things out of your control. I'm sure every department thinks they have it the hardest, and I don't know what overnight is like, but I know a lot of people who smoke who are really good at what they do.

Overnight is pretty great for the simple fact as you mentioned no annoying rude customers. Loads can be really big and sometimes end up working a couple hours over your normal 8. Youre right about management probably breathing down your neck but as for me I dont let that **** fly. If these managers attempt to try and get a tone with me Ill put them in there place. If they need to make some points then do it in a respectable manner and not have some kinda tone. same goes for customers if I actually ever dealt with them cause I rarely do but if their rude then **** off find the **** yourself. These people are gonna learn I dont care how bad there day was. You come in the store to shop that leave that bs outside the store.
Same rule breaks apply to everyone. My store started having an issue of smokers taking twice as long as normal breaks so they started cracking down on it. People quickly started watching their time. Other wise it's up to management to care or not care.
