You want not get full time unless youre a lead, know a manager that will give it too you, some full timer quits and you might be able to fill that spot.

Forget it. The only way to get full time with this company is to move up to department manager and you will already know if you are a "candidate" for this. Very, very, very rarely a night stocker will roll-over due to working a crap load of overtime so when they cut back his hours to prevent the roll over it wont make any difference, they can slip under the radar because the store manager may not be aware of the employee working all these extra hours until it is too late, but they are really watching this closely now because Kroger does not want any more full time workers on their payroll.
It's different each contract. I've worked full time for the designated weeks in a row and never got classified as full time. You might have to fill out some paper work or something on top of working the minimum requirements of 40 hrs at 12+ weeks straight. You can slip a little but not much. This is why a lot of the shifts are not full 8 they're trying to keep the bulk of staff at part time.
