So I haven't work for this company in 2 years. Imagine my surprise when I go shopping, and my employee discount is suddenly reactivated. Thanks Rodney!

How do you tell if you are still getting the discount? I did for awhile after I left but not sure if I still am and I forgot how I was able to tell. I mentioned to my old supervisor I was still getting discounts and she just laughed.
I don't know if this is true at all stores, but at my store it is clearly shown on the sales receipt. Just for a test, buy some items (Kroger brand) and look at the receipt carefully to see if there has been a 10% employee discount applied to those items.
The same products are probably more than 10% less at Aldi without any discount applied, and they do not keep a record of everything that you have ever purchased there!

And every town does not have an Aldi. I went in one last week and it was a small store I wasn't very impressed with what I saw but I was not in there long.
I prefer a small store because I really have no interest in an overpriced florist, wine or cheese shop and all of the other expensive, high-brow junk peddled to impulse buyers at Kroger. A small store that has all of the staples that I actually need and use is ideal, and one that does not offer phoney incentives such as "free" gasoline or keep track of all of my purchases (big brother) is also preferable to Kroger. Maybe you should be more open minded and try shopping elsewhere, as you could save hundreds if not thousands of dollars per year, and as a bonus stop supporting politicians and extremist charities with a portion of your expenditures.

I never said I did not like a small store. My town has a Piggly Wiggly it is a small store and I like that store. But I cannot find everything I need at these small stores. I go to Kroger to get what I need and for Pharmacy I use a small local Pharmacy I stopped using Kroger Pharmacy they are too high.

This just in. The fake news troll has posted once again about how fake he is. We, of course, saw this coming. It was so predictable that it won't be expanded upon. We now return to our regular forum.
Then he shouldnt cry cause he has to get the generic brands. Hes not entitled to get the good stuff if hes to lazy to work for it. And besides I heard Kroger pays top dolla dolla bills to its employees
