Starting Pay

So Kroger isn't going to do anything about the skewed starting pay. They are in a situation now where they have to pay way more to attract new hires - way more than they pay current employees. So we now have new employees starting $5 more than old employees. So these new employees are making way more than older employees, but know less about the job, don't do their jobs well, are apathetic asf, and call in sick once a week.

Dont know about other districts but in ours starting pay is based on experience from other jobs. While it sucks to get paid less than new hires alot of new hires mightve been in the retail/food service game for a hell of a long time before getting hired.

Good job describing yourself. And you advised yourself about what you're going to do with yourself. Well done.

New employees knowing more than old employees is completely illogical, although purposefully so since you're just a lame troll with the same old troll jokes. Silly kid.

The important aspect is that I now have experience from my years at Kroger which I cannot get compensated for. I am better in every aspect from my co-workers who are starting out $5 more than I did, and who still make more money than me on their first day. They are making more than some managers and supervisors, too. It's madness. No, not Sparta; madness!

I have been told you cannot get raises other than the standard ones due to the damn union, so there is no way to get compensation for your experience at Kroger. I guess you can quit, wait 6 months, and re-apply. That's about it. A lot of good a union is; it's a hindrance.

Nah I doubt you know much. Better to invest in fast strong fresh blood than old crusty ASS smelling ones.

If that's how you feel since mum raised your allowance by a whole dollar, then by all means. What  is it, five a week now? And I shower daily instead of just washing my ass. But if that's what you prefer, then again by all means.
