I have been on educational leave of absence since January until May. This was approved by my store and by the company. I received a letter back in December telling me that it was approved.
I just got a letter today saying that my leave of absence is "unapproved" and I got till April 5th to fix the issue. I already left a voicemail and plan on calling first thing in the morning to fix it but ugh this is really annoying. If my leave was somehow disapproved, they definitely did not inform me of it. This company sucks.
Update: It's been fixed. The HR rep was apologetic and admitted it was a mistake. However, I'll be graduating in May and just found out I got the job that I applied to a week ago :D Goodbye Kroger, it's been a wild 3 1/2 years filled with fun, misery, and drama. I probably won't miss you. I'll miss most of my coworkers though, they were awesome.
