So i am a student in the dallas division and I was wondering if we get tuition reimbursement . im skeptical because i heard that dallas division pharmacies are separate from the union
This is correct. Pharmacy is non union. Do it for education. I know a lot of people who paid fifty thousand + for a pharmacy degree and they ended up landing a job in kroger. I would highly suggest taking advantage of the free education. You can use the pharmacy degree to land a better paying job at a hospital or drug company. That is how I got half of my AA degree. You are required to work a certain time frame with the company or you could be paying penalties on it. You basically have to pay them back a certain percentage.
Depending on the demand for Pharmacist, the company may pay the majority of their tuition to tie them into working for the company for X years. This isn't the "standard" tuition policy the company advertises. I would guess depending on your position and job type, they may be different tuition reimbursement it the degree/training fits a larger need for the company.
I totally agree. Use free training. And preferably a good student, of course I had problems in learning. I advise everyone not to skip school, otherwise there will be problems, like mine.
