can the grocery manager change someone's status from full time to part time? Do they have that ability or does it have to go through more channels than just them?
A grocery manager does not have the ability to change someone from full time to part time. You need to speak with your union rep immediately and reclaim your hours.

You better rephrase this, a Grocery Manger can schedule someone 40 hours to "make" them have full-time hours. But until they qualify within the Union contacts rules, they are considered part-time with benefits..etc
