Woke up to a 24 hr flu bug. Called out per the zero work while sick rules. Was requested to come in. Didn't even last five minutes before puking on the check stand. Guess they didn't believe me even though I could barely walk normally because of the flu bug. I know we're short staffed but take call outs more seriously. No joke. I went to bed not feeling great. I can feel soar throats slowly develop before it goes full blown. Well that happened this morning and they didn't take it seriously. Gotta love kroger. Come into work sick, we don't care but no customer would want you touching their groceries.

Sounds like a rouse and you just wanted a weekend off. These kind of sssocites are just disgusting !
That's why you visit the doctor and get a doctors note. That way if they TRY to write you up you can refuse and theres not a thing in this world they can do about it.
